I
think that my team and me could have done a lot better if we actually remember
our lines without reading them from the board, which we ended up doing. We also
needed to improvise a bit as one of our team members were not there on the day
of our team presentation, which we had to our class mates our plan for making
our advert. This made us lose confidence with going with our idea and showing
our idea to others as we all agreed that we would all be there on the day of
our teams presentation no matter what.
What
our team was majorly lacking in was the fact the we had almost no images when
we were talking about pitching our idea and how we came up with what we were
planning to do when making our advert. We went to some sort of depth of
detail in to our presentation but I would have to say it just didn't seem to be
enough. In some of our slides we should have asked our selves why we went with
this idea but instead of thinking longer about others idea which could have
been better.
We
just said sometime that we just decided on an idea without even explaining to
our classmates why. It was a bit unclear
to people that were not part of our group making an advert so we needed to elaborate
more. An example of this would be why we went with the slogan "Too good to
be shared." We could have expanded more than we actually had in the
presentation. We could have said how the slogan came from the story line of the
advert, as we didn't really do that in our prsention.
I
think though that we did explain our selves well enough in some slides of our
presentation for example the story line and location of where the story and why
we choice that place superficial. What we left out was that it was pretty
simply for us to record an advert at school, as we wouldn't have to go out of
our way to record our advert unless we were businesses. It also wouldn't take
any money to really make our advert only by to pairs of chocolate which would
equivalent of two pounds.
When
talking about time and channel if we were to put our advert on TV there was one
problem that our team came across. Our team decided to put our
Terry's chocolate advert in channels were Disney, channel 4, milk
shake and Cabbies. The problem in this slide of
the prevention was that we forgot to remove Cabbies from our slide as
Cabbies do not have any adverts. Other than that
our explanation to why we chose some of the channels
What
I was majorly lacking in was conference, I think that my team and me could have
done a lot better if we actually remember our lines without reading them from
the board, which we did. We
I
think my team and me gave a pretty good explanation to why we chose kids
as our main audience. As it was chocolate and most kids
love chocolate at a young age we just decided that terry's chocolate
orange would mostly appeal to kids at the age of 7 to 17 more
than another other age range because of how energetic people at the
age of 7 to 17 can be so energetic around age from 7 to 17.
As
me and my team were reading from the board we were really
focused on our audiences so it seem like we were not using direct address
as we were mainly focusing on what to say next after our team member. So our
pace of talking was consistent with each other’s.
I
think my team and I didn't explain ethos to a good standard a good enough
standard. We didn't really talk about colour when we were supposed to and to
explain some of the products morals, which we should have done which just
didn’t feel like it wasn’t enough.
If
I was to change anything it would be the fact that our presentation didn't have
enough pictures and more words than it was needed. We also our overall feedback
was positives but there were major things in the presentation that we could have
improved on.
