Lighting
We first had problem with the light but other so over I think we had problem with continuity than any thing else in making our advert.
Example would be when the video would be really
bright to it come becoming grey. This was simply because my team was using
natural lighting through so there was no way to control that as it was weather.
I think what my team and me should have done was white until it bright and
sunny again to start recording instead of just recording without considering
the lighting.
Narrative
There was a point were we thought it just wouldn't make sense how the narrative was going so we had the perfect idea of changing it to suit to us better and to also add comedy tot he advert which I think help a lot in the end goal. As I think being remembered in an advert means that you did something right. People that make adverts want their product to be memorable some how by adding some sort of comedy it makes it somewhat memorable. So our advert had was a hybrid genre as it contain comedy and romance making it a romcom so I think we did well on that part of having a store and having a genre.

We only used one piece of equipment which was the camera my and team was considering that may be we should also bring a tripod but we believed that we didn't need it. We knew for the best part what we doing and the cameraman never was had to move position while recording our cameraman only needed to look rotate the camera. So overall I think my team and I were fine without any equipment just a camera and a prop. We only used one prop through out our advert. The prop we used was Terry’s chocolate orange and my team, and I only used one prop because we wanted it to be the center of attention for the audience.
Mise en scene
My team and I agreed that we should only have a scene as our advert is only 30 seconds long we don't didn't want to go out of our way and make multiple errors we wanted keep the advert and story line simple as much as possible. I think we chose the perfect location, which was the park. I say would say this because couples are known to have a date or meet up in a park and two of our characters were in a romantic relationship. My team and me agreed that the setting would take place in a park not so far from where we discussed our plans on making our advert. We planned to film as soon as it was a hot day, which was bright, was we wanted to set the atmosphere that everything is cheerful and to make it seem family friendly even though our target audience age was 7 to 17 years old I still would say that this applies.
The schedule for my team was set weeks before we actually start filming so my team and knew what time we were going to meet and discuss on how we should go about making our advert. Once the day came were we were finally going to start filming for our advert one of our team member was absent. This lead our team to have a miner set back as we needed the character in our advert. My team asked a classmate to be a replacement for one of our group member and we filled in the story line and what is going to happen in our advert.
Camera language
What I think my team and did well was using the
camera techniques that we have learned over up coming months. We used shot
revere shot with two characters in a convention. We also could have used the
one hundred and eighty degree rule but my team was in such a rush that they
didn't take the time to consider what I was saying to them. My team
thought that we used the one and eighty degree rule when I said to them that
didn't we just continue without actually taking the time to think about how we
position the camera each time we recorded.
The problem we was faced with was faced
with was the delay on dialogue for our characters. We needed the story to
make sense so that audience can understand what was going on. If we
shorted it to much think the audience wouldn't understand. My
team and I discussed on which parts should be cut away. If we had shortened to
many scenes in the advert it wouldn't have been continuous. I felt
that advert my teams advert needed more than 30 second to make a greater
impact on the audience as I think the longer something is the long it
is remembered. We needed to shortened the start of the advert as it wasn't pessary and nothing was happening just a character getting from point A to Point B without any dialogue. We agreed that we just try to shorten the parts that have no dialogue as this would be the best course to take and the story would still make sense.
We tried to use as many camera techniques as possible in our advert. Another camera skill we ended up using was first person perspective to engage the audience for a little while there wasn't much reason for this we just deiced to add it in so the audience gets a clearer look at the chocolate even though it was in the shadow.

Once my team editing our advert we still hadn't
have a slogan to go with our advert. One of my team members came
up with the slogan ' Irresistible unregretable" which
fit perfectly for our story as it fit the storyline of our advert and also
to the chocolate we were promoting which was Terry's chocolate orange.
I thought the acting was pretty armature as we tried to making it genie and realistic as possible by just improving. I thought that we could have done better for acting but I also think it wasn't too bad. I just think that the tone of voice was a bit off and the people acting could have raised it as little for the audience to hear my clearly. I think the factional expression that the actors gave that they were entraining along with the story. Once we had finished our advert I realized my team and me needed to edit our advert. The original video was about 50 about seconds. My team needed to be shorted so it as that was the rule on making this advert.
What I felt my team and I did right was to agree to
have the last shot be a low angle. This was to represent how the Terry's
chocolate orange is the superior chocolate existing. This was to emphasize
how great the chocolate is that everyone should try it. Overall I think my team and I could have done from the acting, camera skills and most importantly time management.
